Before her political career, Morgna worked as an attourney in Deyr, and taught law at the Deyr University of Culture. Although she came from a wealthy family, they lost their assets in the nationalisation plan of the 1930s.

Morgna was a strong critic of Tarquin Soll's political programme and vocal about her opposition to the significant authority of the Supreme Court over state matters. She joined the United Sordland Party in 1949 as part of the Reformist wing of the party, and because of her political disposition and expertise in Sordish law, she was appointed as Vice Minister of Justice and Law by then-President Ewald Alphonso.

During her tenure as Vice Minister of Justice and Law, Morgna was the de facto leader of the Ministry, working under heavy pressure from the Sollist elements in the administration. She earned a reputation as a fighter against corruption in the Ministry, despite protest by the Supreme Court. She is regarded as one of the most experienced attourneys who have worked for the Sordish government.

Morgna gave her support to Anton Rayne in the most recent presidential election and was appointed Minister of Justice and Law in 1953 after he took office.
