Gus Manger is a politician and businessman who serves as the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development since 1949. He is the only member of the cabinet who retained his position from the Alphonso administration. He is a member of the United Sordland Party and previously served as an MP. Regarded as a successful businessman, Gus has made major investments in Anrica and owns a few small businesses around the city. He also holds a minority ownership in 'FC Anrica', the football club of his hometown.
He is often famed for his successful agricultural policies and credited for the long awaited development of the rural regions of Sordland as Minister during Alphonsos presidency. Prior to that, he worked briefly as an advisor for the Minister of Economy. He eventually gave his support to Anton Rayne in 1953, and managed to retain his position as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, which makes him the most experienced minister in the Rayne administration.
