The case entangles Alicia in an undercover FBI-lead task force operation involving judicial bribery. Howard Lyman, fearing getting pushed out of Lockhart, Agos and Lee, approaches Alicia for legal advice for a possible ageism suit. While at her house, Howard meets Jackie and begins a relationship with her. Diane agrees with the partners to offload excess case work to Alicia in an attempt to prevent Alicia from becoming Canning's pawn. On the VP campaign, Eli convinces Alicia and her mother Veronica to appear on a cooking reality TV show, much to Ruth's annoyance when the encounter goes awry.
