Victoria, still hoping for her elusive Oscar nomination, is invited to Los Angeles to present the nominations on live TV. The girls all head to L.A., and Victoria is seated on the plane next to a Price Waterhouse rep who may have the nominations in a locked briefcase. She fails to sneak a peak inside the briefcase, but is later thrilled when she announces her own name at the nomination ceremony. Meanwhile, Elka has an uphill climb in her city council race, but gets a boost from a stunt during Victoria's presentation.
