(Part 1) Beckett gives Castle the answer to his very important question, and agrees to marry him, but also moves to DC for her new job. After 6 weeks, Castle heads to DC to surprise her since he has not seen her in a while. Castle wants to help Beckett with her case but unfortunately it is classified. Castle manages to get in the case after one of the photos falls out of Beckett's files, but is taken into custody and treated like a co-conspirator while Beckett is lectured on having an interfering fiance. Castle returns home to find out that he is in more trouble, as he was exposed to a chemical agent and now Beckett is trying to save his life and has only a day to live.
