Cyric, also known as the Prince of Lies, is the chaotic evil deity of murder, death and tyranny.

He is one of the youngest deities in the realms and only came into power roughly a decade ago during the Time of Troubles. On Boareskyr Bridge he slew Bhaal with the help of Mask, in the form of the sword Godsbane , and stole his portfolio, followed by gaining the portfolios of Myrkul and Bane after their demise.
