Patrick

Patrick is a goodhearted wannabe hero. He only desires one thing in life, which he sees as both his destiny and his only opportunity for penance: become a squire in the court of King Merriman. After years of training, he finally lands his dream position, but he soon discovers that life at the royal court is not all that it is cracked up to be, with the kingdom being ruled by horny monarchs, crooks, and charlatans. To add insult to injury, Patrick's valor makes him the black sheep in his family. His siblings, who have returned, have taken it upon themselves to make his life a living hell.
Patrick's desire to help out was born from a childhood accident that involved destroying a nest of endangered dragon eggs, burning down a large portion of the town, and killing several cats. While Patrick feels responsible, his siblings, Blarney, Coral, and Ruben, were largely to blame for the incident.
