Paskal Beniwoll is an author and Sordish government official who serves as the Minister of Health, Social Affairs and Labour. He is a member of the United Sordiand Party since 1942. His government career began in 1949 when Ewald Alphonso appointed him to the Sordiand Civil Service Commission. He also served as president of the University of Valgen and Gelsord School of Medicine.
Before his political career, Paskal wrote 8 books, one of which was a best-seller called "The Unfortunate Man" where he tells the story of a family of poverty-stricken miners. He became known as a writer who depicts a realistic frame, which brought
him praise from the middle class and the civil rights groups.
He was elected to the assembly in 1945 and advocated for new workplace safety regulations and a workers compensation program. He was an important force in the shaping of the nation’s first social security Policies. Initially a supporter of Ewald Alphonso's programs, Paskal eventually turned against the free market reforms and the president's management of them, stating that it drained badly needed resources away from welfare programs. He gave his support to Anton Rayne in 1953, and was appointed as a minister after the elections.
