    8+。But man is not made for defeat. A man can be destroyed but not defeated. This oil-painting-like work is epic, focusing on the movement of nature and the strength of the human body. Such work is not sustainable due to this costly working process. But this also means that it's like all those old-style oil paintings, carefully preserved in the heart of the viewer.

    经典作品，油画更凸显出意境，加上恰到好处的音乐，使该片极具感染力，很有电影的感觉。唯一遗憾的是受限于篇幅导致小说中老人与鲨鱼搏斗的情节在动画中没能好好表现，但总的来说不愧为奥斯卡最佳动画短片。
